Raising money for women & children around the world

ASOS x Made In Kenya

The London based fashion retailer ASOS celebrates 17 years of business this year and part of their mission is to help communities in need. Since 2009 they have been in partnership with clothing manufacturer SOKO Kenya who provide fair and safe training for some of the country’s poorest communities. SOKO are based in East Africa, in the Wildlife Works Rukinga Sanctuary and provides livelihoods for over 4 people within the region.

The latest collection from the project has recently launched and draws from the beauty of African prints and bold and bright colours. It offers great, statement pieces for our summer wardrobes whilst supporting women in design and sustainable fashion.

ASOS also set up the Kenyan Stitching Academy in collaboration with SOKO. This initiative delivers two month training courses to teach locals new skills which enables them to set up their own businesses or help increase their chances of taking jobs with manufacturers.

ASOS Made in Kenya’s latest collection is available now.
