Valentines Dates

This week is one of February’s biggest days apart from Pancake Day, of course, it’s Valentines Day. But don’t feel the pressure to do something extravagant with your other half; staying in is the new going out. We’ve come up with some alternative date ideas in London you can enjoy both with a partner or a friend. Suitable for throughout the whole day, morning or the evening to relax, wind down and just enjoy their company!

Where: L’Atelier Des Chefs

A great date idea rather than going out for a meal is being taught by a professional chef how to cook together. L’Atelier is offering to teach you how to cook a gourmet three-course meal of either French, Spanish or Brazilian food, before getting to sample your creations with your partner accompanied by a glass of wine or champagne!

Where: Prufrock Coffee, Farringdon

Cocoa Runners is an award-winning chocolate club that host monthly tasters at Prufrock Coffee where you can enjoy an array of artisan chocolate treats with a complimentary glass of red wine. A Great date idea if you’re not wanting to have a full meal and to try something a little different!

Where: Corinthia Spa

If you have a free afternoon this Valentines, a perfect way to unwind and enjoy some down time together is a visit to a spa with your other half. Detox, Relax and Revitalise with your partner on a Valentines Day trip to one of London’s luxury spa’s. ESPA Life at Corinthia is offering treatments for you and your partner in a private suite with two individual treatment pods and other luxury facilities as well as enjoying a delicious lunch date.

Where: The Wolseley

Brunch is a great activity especially on a weekend, but why not turn it into a brunch date? The Wolseley is a fabulous art deco, all day café-restaurant, serving modern European food. This is a great spot for not only brunch but it’s classic interior and extensive breakfast menu!

Where: Home

Like we said, staying in is the new going out! If you don’t think Valentines Day is a big deal and you’d rather spend time together in the comfort of your own home, staying in dates can be a thing. Make a nice dinner together, there are dozens of Valentines Cookbooks available or make it up, It could just be both your favourite things to eat! Or have your own cocktail making class, pamper yourselves at home, or just watch a movie, keep it simple!
