This week is one of February’s biggest days apart from Pancake Day, of course, it’s Valentines Day. But don’t feel the pressure to do something extravagant with your other half; staying in is the new going out. We’ve come up with some alternative date ideas in London you can enjoy both with a partner or a friend. Suitable for throughout the whole day, morning or the evening to relax, wind down and just enjoy their company!

A great date idea rather than going out for a meal is being taught by a professional chef how to cook together. L’Atelier is offering to teach you how to cook a gourmet three-course meal of either French, Spanish or Brazilian food, before getting to sample your creations with your partner accompanied by a glass of wine or champagne!

Make a nice dinner together, there are dozens of Valentines Cookbooks available or make it up, It could just be both your favourite things to eat! Or have your own cocktail making class, pamper yourselves at home, or just watch a movie, keep it simple!
