Alison Urquhart

 

Alison has practiced as a lawyer in New York, London and Switzerland.

Alison began her career in New York at the firm Cahill Gordon & Reindel where she specialized in Complex Securities Litigation, White Collar Crime and International Arbitration.

In London, Alison practiced as an attorney at Wilmer Hale where she specialized in White Collar Crime and Corporate International Arbitration. At Wilmer Hale, she was a Senior Associate in a practice group consistently ranked as one of the best in the world.

Alison is currently living in Geneva, Switzerland where she is an active participant in various charities representing the interests of women and children.

Alison’s pro bono work includes incorporating and obtaining 501(c)3 status for a charity called Peace Outside Campus, which promotes security for students living off campus at universities in the US.

She is a member of Unicef’s Club 25 which is made up of a small group of highly motivated, philanthropic women who wish to engage in charity work for children around the world.

Alison holds a BA in History and Political Science from McGill University in Canada and a Juris Doctorate from Fordham Law School. She is a member of the New York Bar Association.
